The University Faculty of community Shendi guidance of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research was established under the decision of the Director of the university in August 2004 and is the main headquarters Bannaga - Shendi. And community colleges are one of the most important colleges in the universities because of the way universities are measured by the success of their societies and university now is not its premises and equipment, but how about the openness of its society.

Community colleges and seeks to develop community especially in the vicinity of women and children and providing services to those who lost education.

The strategic goal of a college : -

Providing women with different methods needed. Through it can improve the situation of women and enhance their potential and to ensure the participation of players in the construction, reconstruction and reform in the environment and society through raising ability, acquire the necessary skills.

Objectives : -

The objectives are to : -

1-by higher education institutions turn to sensitize and educate the Sudanese society, especially rural communities targeted specifically at women.

2-education opportunities for adults to learn new trades or rehabilitation.

3-provide a variety of programs and the average rehabilitation purpose.

4-meeting the needs of the community and semi-professional cadres in the areas that need them that society.

5 - that women gain religious culture will help deepen their faith in God Almighty and in the performance of their duties in the family.

6 - that women are gaining on the management culture generally include home care, maternity and childhood nutritional aspects and the economic and health of the family.

7-to help women gain skills in the leisure and improving the standard of living and economic clans.

8 - that women are gaining a culture of general environmental help to protect the environment and the rationalization of energy consumption and home care gardening.

9 - that women are gaining knowledge about beautification home depending on its own.

The target group : -

Women in general and housewives from poor families in particular and with little education-produce the certificate Sudanese and waste educational workers in the fields of crafts and handicrafts different.

The granting of diplomas : -
